The European Professional Women’s Network are organising an Amsterdam Social Event on Tuesday 15 February 2011 from 19:00 at ‘Theater De Engelenbak in Amsterdam!The Borrel will be starting at 7 pm first and then we will be attending  the OPEN BAK ( try outs) from 8.30 pm: dinsdag 15 Februari aanvang 20:30 uur Open Bak Diederik Ebbinge Dinsdag 15 februari wordt de Open Bak gepresenteerd door Diederik Ebbinge. Diederik Ebbinge kennen we vooral van het toneelgezelschap De Vliegende Panters. In 2008 besloten zij ieder hun eigen weg te volgen. Diederik greep dit met beide handen aan en hij schrijft, speelt in films, regisseert commercials en theater en heeft een wekelijkse column op radio 1 bij de KRO. Na drie jaar zonder zijn collega Panters begint het theater toch weer te kriebelen. Waar dat toe gaat leiden is nog niet geheel duidelijk….vanavond in ieder geval naar de Open Bak.   members and guests are welcome! At the EGM which is a follow-up to the Annual General Meeting, we will vote on a new fee structure for 2011 and we will hold board elections to vote in the new leadership team.
Last but not least, we get to pay trinute to the contributions of our dedicated board members who will be stepping down from the board. They will be sorely missed!

Please note: this Paris Shopping Trip is open to all EPWN members, from Amsterdam and elsewhere.

-       Social norms on dieting and guilt, but also snacking, junk food as well as alcohol

-       Typical meals and recipes for you and your family

-       And finally, the secret, the one and only rule you’ll need to apply, like 31 Million French women do

31 Million is a personal style consultancy that trains women on the ins and outs of French fashion whilst exposing them to the secrets of French style and nutrition. After our Summer Break, we are looking forward to meet again in the Scheveningen Harbour for our monthly EPWN/CW Hague Borrels. The next one will take place on Tuesday 21 September 2010 from 19:00-21:00 at The Pasta Company in Scheveningen Harbour, members and guests are welcome!

Cost and registration
The cost of the Borrel is €12,50 per person. This will entitle you to two drinks and tapas. You are asked to pay this upon arrival, for which you will receive a token to redeem your drinks at the bar. Additional drinks are at your own cost.

Directions to the venue
We are returning to the venue where we held the first Hague Borrel this year and by popular demand we went back in March. Hopefully our third time at The Pasta Company will be as successful as the previous visits. Although the address is Dr. Lelykade 24a, it’s best to go to the Schokkerweg and to take the stairs down to the restaurants. The Pasta Company is the last restaurant in the row, next to Lemongrass. If you are travelling by public transport, take tram #17 from Den Haag Centraal Station (richting Statenkwartier) and get off at the stop called Van Boetzelaerlaan. Or take tram

On Wednesday May 19 we could like to invite you to the 2010 Spring Dinner which will be an evening of good food and great conversation.
